Should be behind the driver side wheel on the side of the transmission a few inches above where your CVC joint snaps in the transmission.

How much manual transmission fluid 1992 geo storm

first off which of 3 trans is in car.
stick or auto? we cant guess this.
sounds like you are starting with zero facts.
the FSM is online, read it.
alldata.com
but asks you the same questions.

the M/T is easy, its stated in the book, the pints.

the A/T is totally different, radically
it has 3 amounts.
1: just pan.drained.
2: the clutch and pan drained.
3: the tranny totally apart and dry, amount.

the A.T only drains a small amount. that is why we do full flushes
to get all old fluid out of it.

some tranny have a drain plug (or not)
on new cars, they took out the drain and filler tube,
why do that?, easy, to FORCE the owner to do the job right
right is?
full flush, !
just take it in and get it done.

not jiffiboobs, but use a real shop with ASE techs. at the ready
do so and WIN.

Location of drain plug, fill plug and correct oil level plug for 5 speed manual transmission

I don't know if there is a fill plug. I just use the level plug located on driver's side right above the inner CV joint of the half-shaft (axle) to fill it. A piece of flexible tubing connected to a funnel works well. The drain plug is fairly near the center of the bottom of the gearbox housing (behind the bell housing). The level plug has a 24mm, fairly flat, hex head, and the drain plug is a recessed plug with a 3/8" (?) square hole (for a socket handle).
