Question about 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan
Running sluggish and now will not start. I don't think it is getting any gas. Where is the fuel pump relay? And how can I tell if it is the relay or the pump?
I think you will find the FP relay under the hood in one of the two black power distribution boxes.
When you turn the ign key to run, you should hear the pump run for 3-5 seconds to prime the system, then stop. You might have someone lie down outside and see if they hear it.
Verify that relay and fuse for pump are good first, and then attaching a pressure gage to the fuel rail will confirm whether or not pump is working properly if at all.
Also, make sure that your battery is not the culprit before replacing the pump. Chrysler products are very sensitive to a flaky/dying battery.
