Question about 2001 Hyundai Elantra
When swaping motors on a 2001 hyundai elantra, does the automatic transmission have to be removed with or its mounts loosened
The transmission does not need to be removed with the engine or its mounts loosened. However, I do recommend removing the pulleys from the front of the engine as this will allow more room to slide the engine away from the trans during removal.
