Window seems to be off track.

  • brooks72 Apr 23, 2010

    not seat the window.

  • brooks72 Apr 26, 2010

I can't remove the door panel. My Haynes repair manual says to remove the door handle bezel, by prying it loose. But it doesn't seem to want to pry loose. This is the only thing holding me up from removing the panel.

    Any other quick fix suggestions?

Your power window motor is shot , buy another one, it takes three or four bolts to remove it. The window slides on the track.

The drivers side window is off the track and now im having problems getting it closed

you can sometimes get it back in by lowering the window all the way down, pry or hold open the felt seals on the door, and look into the door with a flashlight, you might be able to get it back in track by moving the window back and forth (be carefull not to strain glass or it will shatter).. may have to remove door panel to put glass back on track.
