Seems that your starter is going bad. have it checked in a local discount auto parts for free, and go from there. most likely you can have it replaced, and that is normally an easy task.

first adjust carbureted to the sweat spot, turn mixture screw in till it sounds like funny, turn it out till it stumble, set it half way between. Grease auger shaft if applicable, check oil in auger gear case. Then try again. If this does not work do a compression test

My 1992 Pontiac Bonneville died for no reason!

Not likely heat related

I would guess your fuel pump is worn out
& occasionally stops from mechanical or
electrical issues

You could check the pressure with a gauge
attached to fuel rail but on a 1992,I'm guessing,
again, that it is the original or second pump

You may just have to replace it to solve the problem

You may have a failing water pump,
remove the small return hose from the resevoir and hold it pointing into the resevoir, have a second person start the car and rev the RPM to 2000 if no coolant comes out or no solid stream replace the water pump

2004 Chevy Malibu won't start and shakes when stopped at light

The next time it starts shaking and acting up its the time to have a fuel pressure test, or maybe if you can't remember the last time the fuel filter been chg. do that and see if it dosent run any better. Could be filter getting cloged up, or maybe pump getting weak and dosent show up until its run a while and has got warm.

sounds like to me your clutch is on th way out , try starting your car from cold and put it in second then try and pull off , or when u r driving about 35 mph put in 4th and put ur foot down on gas if it revs but dont go anywhere , when its cold it is taking the strain of the flywheel but as it heats up its starting to slip , u could try adjusting the clutch cable but sounds like u need a new clutch, but always take it 2 a trusted garage and tell them the symptoms and not what u think it is ,let them find the solution hope that helps daz
