Only blows heat when accelerating

the ac core only blows cold air but You must be talking about the heater core.. In which case I would suggest that you bleed the air out of the coolant system as there is an air lock in the heater core.

Heater works only when accelerating

weak engine, heat, engine coolant must be 180F or more at all times
hot. if not the heater will be weak.
unless you failed to notice the heater fan speeding up. that would
be gross 12 DC power issues, dead battery or, bad charge system.

Why Is My Heater Cold?

The wrong antifreeze was put in my car. It had gotten gummy and I had to get a power flush so it would stop over heating. Since then my heater has stopped working which i figure the heater core will need...

If I may ask, what color was the antifreeze that you took out of your car? If the coolant is not actually overheating, the coolant temperature sensor could be bad. Check the routing of the serpentine belt. It is possible to get the belt on wrong and turn the water pump in the wrong direction, which would cause overheating because the coolant would not be circulating as it should. That would also prevent the heater from working since the coolant would not be flowing through the heater core.

I have a 2005 Nissan sentra and the heater wont stay warm unless i am accelerating. The AC is doing the same but in this case it does not stay cold unless i am accerating. I was thinking of changing out...

It sounds like your fans are not operating properly. When u accelerate cool air is forced through the radiator & condenser which can cause that problem , u can change the thermo. for maintenance anyway. Use fresh 50/50 coolant mixture. Ck those fans

Heater core on a 2003 jeep liberty limited

sound like th efan is not working, not the heater, acceleration cause the air to move through the vent, so if the fan is not working, there is nothing to move the air, even the heater is working.
