SOURCE: replace radiator 81 6 cyl ford van

Drain the radiator, Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses, Disconnect the trans. cooler lines. These are "hard" lines connected to the radiator approx. 5/16 lines. Remove the mounting bolts of the shroud (if equipped) Remove the mounting bolts for the radiator and lift straight up. Installation is the reverse. Be sure to fill your radiator with a 50/50 mix of coolant to water. Start and run van and check for leaks.

SOURCE: 96 suzuki vitara - radiator empties but no visible leak

Check the passanger side floor board for moisture this could indicate a bad heater core. Then I would check the engine oil and make sure its not milky looking (head gasket). make sure when you fill it let it run with the cap open with you looking into the cap to be sure is circulating and not vapor locked (air pocket)
hope this helps

The best thing you can do for yourself is get a manual. There are vehicle specific ones available such as Haynes, that have all info you will need to do that job. Pay careful attention to the correct positioning of crank and cam pulleys If you get it wrong, it may cause larger problems. I suggest that after it has been re-assembled, you turn the engine by hand four full turns, to ensure that valves are not striking pistons.

the only way to get them out is to remove the unit from the car and disassemble it. if you replace the unit it will go to an exchange company and if you request it they will send your cd's back.

Do you need to replace it? It's within the cooling system and usually in a hose just off the engine block. You can follow the radiator piping back to the engine. But you're better off referring to a repair manual

Where do you find the thermostat for the radiator on a 1991 lexus es 250?

Hi, Most of the time you can follow the UPPER radiator hose to the engine and there will be the thermostat housing. On Reverse Flow cooling systems you follow the LOWER radiator hose. All the thermostat does is trap coolant in the engine until it reaches a certain temperature, then opens to the radiator to be cooled. Don't forget to bleed the air from the highest place in the cooling system. Sometimes that's the reservoir, but look for a small plug high on engine. Good luck

REPLACE THERMOSTAT-1999 LEXUS GS 300

Just follow the upper radiator to the engine, the thermostat is under the cover that the upper radiator hose attaches to on the engine. Make sure to bleed the air out of the system after draining it to replace T Stat or the engine will overheat and damage a head gasket..

99 lexus rx300 has engine miss on cyl 2,4,6 all

2-4-6 could be a fuel or ignition issue, hopefully not a valve. If you have the engine tested at the dealership they will attach a code reader under dash to analize and this should help pinpoint the problem.
