Hello,

Thanks for using FixYa.

Try to check the fuses for these instruments. If the fuses are good, you definitely have a short in your wiring system. Possible a faulty ground. You need to have an automotive electrician take a look at it ASAP. It could be dangerous having a faulty ground because this may affect your fuel system and cause sparks etc thus igniting the fuel.

I hope this helps. Thanks and good day.

Hello. When you have a number of electrical issues like this, your best move is to look in the yellow pages under autoelectric repair shops. These shop technicians have the training and tools to find and fix all of your electrical issues. Joe

Check your battery and see if it is dead. If it is dead, place it on a battery recharger overnight and then reinstall it into your vehicle and check if you have power. If you get power to your ignition system and not your door locks, sunroof, lights, and windows then you will need to check the fuses underneath the left side of the drivers side steering wheel. Pull the plastic fuse box cover lid off and on the backside of it is a diagram of what each fuse controls, locate the fuse for the door locks and pull it out to see if it is burned or blackened. Replace it with the same fuse number (fuse number is located on top of the fuse) Repeat these steps untill you have checked the four or five seperate fuses that control your sunroof, power door locks, radio, and power windows.

Interior lights not working

Sounds like you have a bad fuse, and or maybe a bad relay in your dash panels. Start by looking up the fuses that affect your sunroof, then work out to the other issues. On my Ford, there is a bad relay that affects my power windows, my radio, and my interior lights. Sometimes more than one fuse is related to a system, so check all the fuses before trying relays.

Yeah sounds like it. You didn't specify the year, make, or model ! Cadillacs have 3 fuse boxes. One on the drivers fender under the hood, one under the drivers dash, and one in the truck on the drivers side.

Sounds very much like two possibles a short in the fuse box to the non working parts or your battery went dead and was recharged and you did not reset these items. As what U mention all sound like the equipment that needs to be reset when you change a battery or it goes dead.

The switch is finding its ground thru the interior light switch. Your problem is most likely a broken wire in side the rubber boot that goes from the door to the body near the door hindges.
