This is tough without actually being there but it could either be your flasher solenoid or a vent door (for the heater or ac) that is getting stuck and cycling back and forth. Hopefully this gives you an idea of where to start looking. I know GM did have trouble around your year with flasher solenoids going bad left and right. The blinkers work fine but the solenoid starts going bad, especially if you live somewhere that has seen a little moisture lately.

Loud ticking noise in cab under glove compatment. The noise is not under hood.

get your owners manual out and find where the fuse panels are. there is generally one under the hood and another one under the dashboard. when you find them, there are relays and flashers plugged in as well as fuses. put your hand on the one under the dash it when you hear the click and you can feel which one it is. if that is not it, i would suggest talking to a chevy service manager about vent and heater box flap actuators as being the cause.

Hi i hear a ticking coming from behind the glove box, i tried turning every thing off, it still ticks till i turn the car off

It may be the heater blower fan. It is always on when the car is running. I'm pretty sure the blower is under/behind the glove box.
Does the ticking noise change when you speed-up or slow the fan speed? If so, there may be a leaf or something stuck in the fan blades. You might have to have the blower motor removed to get it cleaned out.
Hope this helps...

TURN LIGHST DON'T WORK

you need to replace the flasher relay under the dash on the drivers side. it may be mounted in the fuse box or as a stand alone relay. if it's in the fuse box it will likely be larger then any of the other relays.

Ticking sound when car is started

If it is around the glove box you may have something in the blower motor fins. the blower motor can come from under the passenger side dash I think it is 3 8mm bolts that hold it in there. You may be able to tilt the glove box down by opening it and pinching in the sides to see if a piece of paper fell back behind it. As for the defroster there should be no correlation.
