Electrical- something keeps killing my car battery.

Do a draw test on the battery and then start pulling fuses while you watch the amp meter.. Also check for lights left on like glove box light, vanity mirror lights left on in sun visors, these are the most common source of draws.

Battery issues

There is a current drain taking place. Check for simple things first, like glovebox or vanity mirror lights staying on, check all lighting to make sure it is off when truck is off. Beyond that the alternator needs to be tested and a technician needs to check for other causes for parasitic drain.

I have a 1988 ford f-150 xlt lariat with a battery keeps going dead.I pulled the battery terminals off while running and turned on headlights and fan blower and it didnt shut off, does this mean

Check and make sure no interior lights are on, the most common is the vanity lights in the visor drawing the battery down or the interior lights coming on at night from a defective switch inside one of the doors

What can drain the battery with no load on

Any kind of small light bulb like vanity mirror lights and the like. Check very light to make sure they are not on, glove box, under the hood all. If you haven'that's the battery tested do that as well and clean the top of the battery. A dead cell can draw the battery down.

I need to replace the mirror of my 2007 Ford Explorer XLT as it was hit and knowcked off, hanging by the power wires. this is he Passenger side door

You can access the inside mounting bolts by removing the panel just inside of the passenger mirror...the electric plug can be unplugged without any other changes...Your mirror is of course available through your local Ford can also try the internet to find a like new replacement mirror and head assembly...just type in 2007 Explorer passenger side mirror...Also, your least costly replacement is available at your local salvage yard...some allow you to browse, and remove yourself...(good practise before scratching yours...some yards will pull the mirror for might even find the exact color...salvage yard mirror heads (electric) go for $25. to $75. Sounds like you have a good start...Hope this helps.

Battery goes dead often. Must jump or charge almost everyday

perhaps your problem is not so complicated. maybe one of your vanity mirror lights arent shutting off or something. go out in your car at night and look for light after your dome light shuts off.

2005 VW Jetta 1.5 drain amps

Check all the interior lights, visor lights or map lights left on will cause this amperage level of draw, vanity mirror lights are common issues.
