Question about Peugeot 405

1 Answer

4/11/10 I bought two rear shocks for my '89 peugeot 405 sedan. Rear shocks were advertised in description and photo. The seller was Excesse,LLCdbaoctane. The transaction number was 44774659D4333935N. These were advertised and photed as KYB rear shocks.. The shipping e-mail I received was for front struts...not rear shocks!!! I have not gotten or heard anthing from this retailor since. I want the rear shocks as advertised as well as courteous timely information as to what is happening with this order of mine! My peugeot 405 needs rear shocks! The convenience and accuracy of paypal is on the line here! Thanks for your help!!

1993 K reg Peugeot 405 rear brake compensator

the one on my 405 is in a bad stat. what i can tell you is there should be a spring attaching the arm to the trailing arm, these rot away for a passtime they cant be replaced, having spoke to a main dealer yesterday (17 june 2009) the sum of £98 would get a new one. unfortunately i cant provide you with a picture as mine covered in cack. try a main dealer they might let you look at there parts book.
