Engine Management Light, same as a Check Engine Light... simply means a sensor component on your vehicle is malfunctioning You'll need to have someone with a tester to run diagnostics and retrieve codes to find exactly what the culprit is. my light went out after i replaced egr valve---twice--then came back on....then i had a fuel system "clean out" done by national chain...light went out--milage went up--GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
I had the same problem. I went to the kia dealer and they checked the code that caused the light to be on and found I had a leak in the gas cap. They replaced the gas cap and the problem went away. You night need to find out what made the check engine light go on in the first place.
