You probably need a transmission pro to diagnose it properly, but it doesn't sound good. Was the original fluid you drained dirty brown? And did you see significant amounts of metal shavings in the transmission pan? The severe discoloration of the fluid is due to the clutch pack material wearing off and dispersed throughout the fluid. What is the switch for in the lower left side of the dash on my 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix, it's labeled, start in second gear

with switch on, the transmission will not shift into 1st gear--it will start in second and then shift to third, etc.. This is OK for normal driving, but not if you start on hills or want to accelerate quickly from a stop.

sensor might be dirty, try removing them and cleaning them. Dont use sprays as they pose a threat more than they fix. Check tires to see if there is one that might be WAY lower than the rest. Or consider taking it to a shop if you cant find the rigth abs sensor.

Timing marks

There should be a dot stamped in one off the teeth. If this is a used gear, you might need to clean it a little to find the dot.
