Question about 1999 Mazda Protege

1 Answer

1999 Mazda Protege -- Was running an hour or so before, then just wouldn't start. Heard a buzzing sound coming from under the hood. It ended up to be in the fuse box in the engine compartment. It is a large black box-looking fuse, not the 100A though. What is it, and how do we get it out?

RELAY simply pull it out, check for signs of moisture in fuse panel if moisture is evident blow dry and use a lil vaseline if thats all you have and put on pronges of NEW relay.

My mazda protege wouldnt start changed my timing belt and made sure to keep it in time while i was setting everyhting back up. now it only starts when i pump the gas pedal or leave it pressed but a bunch...

you may have the timing in place but it depends on the adjustment on the timing belt there are markings that have to be set for new belt and old belt. if these are out then the engine will not start. white smoke can be caused as you have flooded the engine.or there is warter in the exhaust system.
