Question about 1991 Nissan Pathfinder
It has timing marks on the harmonic balancer and should be an arrow looking mark on one of the pulley brackets. you will need a timing light every time it hits top dead center itll flash make sure it flashes and both timing marks are passing each other at the same time. being a 91 it may have a distributer. if it does loosen the one bolt holding it tight have someone start it and hold it straight then turn it one way or the next listen to it to see if that will fix it first usualy thats al you need to do. but if its got a coil pack then you will have to do the timing deal above.
