Convertibles are easy, just cut the top ,, just kidding. Call the dealer and get the key code, I would think the locksmith would have done that already?

Under the hood, in the fuse panel is the relay for the trunk release. You need an electrical tester. you ground one end of the tester and gently tip the relay toward the back of the car without pulling it out. Grounding out one of the front prongs with a tester will pop the trunk.

Locked keys in Mustang convertible

Only way without damaging weatherstripping is to call locksmith, or tow company. I know $50 sucks, but that's the only way..
make a spare key tomorrow! I do the same thing. :)

I locked my keys in the trunk of my 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible and I do not have my extra set of keys. There is no release button. What do I do? I'm at a hospital with no way home

Call Ford Roadside Assistance. They will open your car door for you.

To receive roadside assistance in the United States for Ford or Mercury

vehicles, call 1-800-241-3673 or if you own a Lincoln vehicle, call

Otherwise, get a coat hanger and insert it carefully between the front & rear windows and try to activate the unlock button in the car. It will set off the alarm, but you can turn it off after you get keys from trunk. Hit the trunk release inside the car.

Keys locked in trunk 2004 chrysler sebring convertable

any mobile locksmith can get you into the trunk. or at least cut a key for the door and ignition and then use the inside trunk release. They will tell you the cost up front.

Your local dealer may be able to cut a key using the vin number.

I locked my keys in the trunk of a 2006 chevy malibu. The unlock button at the drivers side front door doesn't work anymore. And the only set of keys I have are locked in the trunk. Help. Anyway to get...

A lot of today's cars have seat backs that fold down to allow access to the trunk. I guess you would of already tried that. Just a thought. The only other thing I can think of, besides calling a locksmith, is to see if there is a blown fuse for the remote opener.

Door lock problem... I just purchased a used 95 mustang convertable any way the dealer only had 1 key and it goes to the ignetion... I cant unlock the door or the trunk with the key I called a locksmith...

You should be able to go to Ford and have them key a set of lock tumblers for you (they usually don't charge for one). Possibly re-key the locks that are already in the car. Most parts departments have a "magic" guy who can do this for you, that way your locks will all match. This will also save you the purchase of 2 of the lock tumblers.

The door installs should be fairly easy to install as it is rather straight forward. If the trunk does not have a trunk release you may have to drill out and destroy the lock tumbler to open it and remove it.

Keys locked in trunk 1989 Nissan Stanza

You say you can't get into the car so you cant go through the backseat. Call a locksmith to open your trunk. Don't damage anything you will be sorry later. Should cost about $40.00. Or you can pop the lock out of the trunk. Call a locksmith.

from what i know the only way to enter the trunk is via the key, Ford unfortunately did not think things through when designing this feature. You need a locksmith sorry to say
