1997 chevy blazer 4.3 v6 po300 code passenger side exaust manifold not heating up misses and backfires

p 0300 is random misfires
no heat in one bank manifold indicates that there is no injectors working on that side
could be wiring connection , ECM , blockage to that bank fuel manifold
check also the cam position sensor as it may be faulty, switching off the bank and the backfiring would also result from that faulty sensor

Ready smog p1345 1998 Chevy Blazer

Code 1345 means there is a problem with the alignment between the cam and crank sensors. The computer can not determine correct cam timing by the data coming from the sensors.

You may have misunderstood the part he spoke of are you sure he meant the ECM or did he mean the ignition control module? Bring the car to an Auto Zone and have them check for trouble codes, they check them for free and you can google OBD II trouble code then your year make and model and the code.

I have a p1345 code on a 99 chevy 1500 5.7

start over! disconnect the battery. reset the dist. in properly aligned with TDC and #1 towards the front of the motor. once these steps have been taken and youre sure youre ready to fire it off, do so. make sure you set timing, you probably need to get a scanner and clear the codes. if you can afford one with "live data", it will serve you well if there are any further problems.

Had to replace upper and lower intake gaskets because of water leak in the crossing water journal. when took apart the 1997 chevy blazer ran fine other then the leak.once i got it put back to gether truck...

You may have had some water migrate into the cylinder through one of the intake runners causing a spark plug to foul. You will need to remove the spark plugs to see which one is fouled.

1997 Aerostar 4 liter engine has miss on several cylinders. New wires and plugs. Miss is intermintent. Usually worse under load. At times van runs fine.

check for vacume leaks on intake and other vacume hoses. random misfire is also usually a clogged fuel filter or pressure regulator. could also be a cam or knock sensor. are their any trouble codes.
