The problem may be the radiator cap and sealed so that when the system pressure is passed into the coolant reserve tank is the first thing you have to revisar. Thanks

the white smoke is coolant burning, a cracked head or head gasket would cause this.

I am looking for the radiator cap location on the 2007 malibu.

A lot of the newer cars don't have a cap on the radiator anymore. The manufacturers decided to move it to the overflow bottle, which I think is a stupid idea. Should the bottle split, you lose ALL your coolant, then cook the engine, as opposed to just losing a little bit of coolant.

Radiator level light stays on and level is okay. Not overheating either.

there is a float in the overflow bottle that is stuck it might be bad but try tapping the overflow bottle with a hammer handle there might be an air bubble under the float sometimes tapping the bottle will make the bubble brake lose and come to the top.

The coolant light comes on while I'm driving but I keep checking the coolant & it's full??

If there's two wires leading to the coolant overflow bottle, the level sensor inside the bottle is gummed up and stuck. Seen this before on a GM car. Not sure if Mazda carries this item.

Hi, My Eunos 30X (Mazda MX-3) digital clock loses memory and flashes when I switch off the ignition.

Hi! Please check on the fuse on this matter. The fuse may be blown causing it to act up.

Mazda 2003 protege overheating is this most likely the thermostat?

That's a good (and cheaper) place to start. You might also check belts (water pump at least) for cracking and glazing; the circulation rate doesn't have a lot of latitude and a slipping belt can have an influence.
Also, is your electric fan running when it should?
Also, once you are under the hood, check your oil for any signs of Jergens lotion (water/coolant contamination) and your overflow bottle for any signs of oil floating in it.  If you are going to get your hands dirty anyhow, you might pull your plugs and look for any suspicious rusty discoloration. This paragraph is assuming bad stuff; namely a failing head gasket which can also cause overheating if it has failed between a cylinder and the water jacket; during combustion, hot gases are pumped into the coolant which also should cause bubbles that you can see in the overflow bottle.

Water leak mx5 1993 - HELP NEEDED !!!

That's the bypass hose connector. It should be bolted to the motor. If so u can obtain the connector & gasket (if it has one) from the dealer. Before u remove it, remove the rad cap to release any pressure from the system & u will lose less coolant. Don't forget to refill the coolant upon repair. Good luck

2002 mazda millinia losing coolant out the overflow tank & overhe

Martin, You should replace your fan motor. One fan is for ac and one is for normal driving without ac. Your car is getting to hot. Hope this helps, these fans are available aftermarket as a whole assembly. Check out ebay I have seen them on there I have a wholesale company I buy them through.

Overflow losing coolant

this is an overflow tube.
have you checked the radiator itself to see if it is low? need to do this only when engine cool.
if radiator is low and you just add to bottle it will **** it all out until radiator is filled properly.
