THE MOST COMMON REASON IS A SHORTED ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP INSIDE THE GAS TANK.

TO KNOW FOR SURE U WILL NEED TO DISCONNECT THE FUEL PUMP CONNECTOR AT THE GAS TANK, THIS MEANS YOU WILL NEED TO DROP THE TANK DOWN TO REACH THE CONNECTOR WHICH IS ON THE TOP OF THE TANK.

Where is the fuse box

You should have a BJB, Battery Junction Box under the hood for the high current fuese & circuit breakers, and one under the dash, SJB, Smart Juntion Box for the low current fuses and relays. Your owner manual will tell you the location and fuse identification

Got a new battery yesterday on my 2000 Mit, but today it will not

Sounds like starter solenoid. Use a voltmeter and put it on B+ wire from starter relay to solenoid. Then crakk the vehicle . If your getting 12v there than its the starter solenoid. if there is no B+ there than check ign. switch, neutral safety switch, starter relay .
Good luck ..... you may want to give the battery a 3 min charge before testing.

NO POWER TO FUELPUMP RELAY

When asking questions, its very important to tell what engine size or the "8th" vin digit, you have. 20 amp fuse in the dash fuse box, labled "IGN" upper right corner.

20 amp ignition fuse keeps blowing

I'm curious, does this vehicle have an alarm/remote starter? If so I expect the installer didn't wire it correctly ... it was an all too frequent issue, with inexperienced installers we had .... I would first suspect any add-on device first (if any) ... In answer to your question ... I know it does have a relay (Starter solenoid is a relay and built onto the starter) As far as it being a relay or the IGN switch ... I'm skeptical.
