Any vehicle will spin on a wet road even if it is a four wheel drive. The wetness does not give any traction to the tires. When it comes to snow that is deep you do have minimal traction but not 100 percent either

Have to ask.. Bald tires? if not look at the brakes. Brake hoses clogged from the inside and keep the brakes tight. Calipers can also do this.

Is anything wrong with having smaller tires on the front my truck and bigger tires on the back

Besides being illegal ,are you talking tyre widths or rim diameters. If you are doing it to "simply look cool" then insurance companies love you because it negates their requirement to pay out an insurance claim. Differing traction co-efficient between tyres will make handling on different road surfaces-gravel-wet -snow etc and the loss of steering control will be easy

There are chrome rims on the car I bought about 4 years ago. I took the car in to discount tire because one of the tires continue to go flat on a weekly basis. I was told that the rims got wet inside which...

moisture in a mounted tire will rust a steel rim from the inside out with chrome it gets under the chrome plating and attacks the steel rim which peels, flakes and bubbles the chrome off if it hasnt damaged the outside of rim[meaning re chrome or replace rim] and only at rim lip u can sand lip till smooth and theirs a brown sealer that almost every tire place use and can be put on tire lip which seals stopping any rim lip leak this stuff is use for problems like yours imperfections on rims---doesnt matter where u live the moisture has nowhere to go they will have the moisture in there

Engine cuts out, or stalls while driving. Will crank over, then restart after a few minutes 1997 BMW 328I

wet ecu

the ecu compartment is under the windshield on the passenger side on E36

you gain acess to it under the hood....
this compartment gets wet, the ecu lays on a flat surface in that
compartment.

the bottom side of the circuit board gets wet and starts corrosion.

remove the ecu, take the bottom plate off, clean the bottom of the circuit
board with alcohol and a soft tooth brush.

you should be able to see the signs of corrosion or conductive build up.

this gunk bridges solder points doing all sort s of wierd things to your
car, including false sensor readings from asc/abs controllers and other
sensors....

all the way to engine failure and worst case burnt and shorted wiring
harness.

I'm on my 3rd ecu, took me and the repair boys a few years to figure this
one out.

BTW: i would get that ecu mounted above that flat surface, use some sort
of standoff to raise it so that it is not laying in the wet.

Stibilatrak light comes on and I lose power..

the stabilitrac system will turn the light on when its activated. Driving in wet/snowy roads will cause one or more wheel to spin as it slips on wet roads, this condition is normal.
I'm sure once your on flat even road without the possibility of your drice wheels to spin the light will turn off on its own.

WHILE OPERATING REDUCED ENGINE POWER LIGHTS COME ON AND CAR LOSES POWER DOES THIS AT DIFFERENT TIMES AND NO SET PATTERN

pay more attention to when it happens, turning, taking off from a stop, is the road wet or slippery.

if the road is slippery and you take off from a stop or make a turn while acellerating on wet road the right tire will start to spin on the slippery surface, when this happens the computer will sense the slipping and reduce the engine power just long enough to re-gain control and goes back to normal.

Need assistence for 2000 toyoto camry please

DId the engine shut off when the car was in the water? Do not try to start it until you do the following inspection: Remove the air filter box and examine the air filter. Is it soaking wet? If so, you have ingested water into the cylinders. If this is the case, you must remove all of the spark plugs and crank the motor, this will blow the water out of the cylinders. Note that repeated attempts to crank the engine with water ingestion may cause damage ti the connecting rods. Examine the air filter for wetness & get back to me.
