There will be a red cord hanging down from the trolley or trolley arm. Pull this down or back toward the opener depending on the brand and this will release it from the opener. You should be able to run it by hand now until the opener gets replaced/repaired. Thanks BB

Automatic temperature control it's bad burn on me, I order a used "ATC" automatic temperature control and still doesn't work check the fuses and relays still doesn't work

There should be some kind of valve that controlls the actual amount of coolant running through the heater core and there for controlls the temp. There may also be a door that might be stuck that controlls the amount of air traveling through the heater core.

Had the battery changed in 2007 nissan murano and now the chimes don't ring and the drivers doesn't automatically move back when opening the drivers door. How do I reset these?:

Disconnecting the battery erases stored memory, after you connect the battery put the key in the ignition cylinder and turn the driver door switch on(open) and off (closed), on (open),the entry, exist function then becomes complete, and the return operation can be operated,

Automatic Doors won't function-How do I fix or what could be the problem

The door doesn't open with the remote or the in-car switch? I'd check the fuse, then check for power to the door actuator when the button is pressed. If there is power at the door actuator then I'd suspect a bad actuator motor. If there isn't power, please post back and I'll put my thinking cap on.

"automatic" window on my 2005 mustang does not

So when it doesn't seal that means the tracks the window have been falling out typically. The door panel needs to come off to inspect the tracks. And if your driver side power window doesn't work, that typically means a seperate problem located in the switch itself. It could also be the wires, so you can run a seperate wire to test the switch by running it directly to the window motor, and pressing the switch down. This can easily be done while the door panel is off so you can hit two problems at the same time.

2005 Freestar "door open signal"

Chances are the autolock doesn't work because it "sees" a door open. Check the plunger between the door and the frame of each door to see if the plunger is broken, bent, or otherwise not working.

Where is the door contact switch?

Hiya
Check all 4 doors to see what works and doesn't work, be sure the interior domelight switch is set to turn on automatically when any door is open as well try the radio then open the 4 doors to see if it turns off...if your driver's side door don't work as you stated then that should be the door's "at fault".

GM built the door contact switch that's installed INSIDE the door-it's located inside the door striker/jamb area...it require removal of door trim to gain access.

However, you might want to try this visual inspection:
Check the thick wire harness located between the front-left door and door sill frame to see if any wire has been disconnected/cut or tampered with by previous owner.
