How do you know that the motor itself is faulty. These particular motors have an issue with the module which is screwed directly on the front of the motor itself. This is held on by 3 torx head screws. If it is the motor, it should unscrew directly and not require any tricks. Let me know what else you may need.

It is likely to be the module. Did it ever work without the switch being activated?

Replace the module. That is a constant problem with these GM wiper motors. All you ask for is the wiper module and it comes in a kit with 3 screws, cover and the module itself. very easy to replace at a fraction of the cost.

Look at Cardone. They sell the module alone for around $35 without the motor.

My driver side windshield wiper us to stopped working on a 2003 buick park avenue ultra

up for a wiper arm mechanism
or buick genuine part or a used wrecker part

try this
bottom of the wiper arm
there might be a cover and under the cover... a nut
its a nut to tighten
a taper at the base of the whole wiper arm to
motor linkage has probably worked loose

if the tighten doesnt fix it
you can ad an extra washer under the nut and tighten

What could be my problem for my windshield wipers to suddenly start and stop working?

It could be the screws are loose (at the bottom end of the wipers)
There may be a rubber cap you will need to access the screws. (Also worth checking if the wiper motor is working when wipers are not)

Other possibility, the wiper motor fuse is loose with intermittent connection - locate the fuse box and take out all fuses, inspect them for damage/burn marks and insert them firmly back.

Hope this helps

Where is the windshield wiper motor on a 2004 Buick Lasabre?

if you look between the hood and the wipers, there is that channel that runs through there. there should be holders that hold it into the steel, to remove thes holders you will have to pull on the smaller circle until it pops out like a pop up timer on a turkey, then pull on the second circle. once all of these and any screws are removed you should be able to pull it off, there will most likely be another cover (unless it has already been removed) and that is why it is hard to find the motor. If your car has the wipers always up; say you run them and then it tries to stop in the correct spot but then goes back up on the windsheild, then something was probably damaged because of ice. there are cam switches in the motor that can sometimes be readjusted, however most of the time you wil have to replace the motor

When wipers are turned off they park in vertical on my 2002 Buick Regal. It started after I had to clean a bunch of snow off my windshield. Did I bump something with my snow brush?

This is most likely the result of a bent park tab on the wiper motor bracket. To repair this install a new wiper motor crank arm (#12494832) and a wiper motor bracket service kit (#88958149). This is a common problem among many 2002 Buick Regals and Centurys.
