Pull a vacuum line off from the intake manifold, spray a bunch a carburetor spray into the manifold and replace the vacuum line, then try and start the engine. If the engine starts and runs even for a few seconds then you have a fuel problem and it will most likely be the fuel pump.

Sounds like the fuel pump needs to be replaced. I had that same problem.

Bad fuel pump, fuel filter, it may not have enough pressure or you aren't getting spark

97 chevy blazer isn't getting enough juice to start

You may have a dying cell in the battery. It will charge and seem OK but won't stay charged for long. Try a load test of the battery

2004 Blazer runs normal cold start, plenty of power. Bogs down after warm up, diminishing power, won't go. Catalytic Converter? What is temp sensitive could bog engine down?

The Catalytic Converter is one possibility, but not likely. If when the truck bogs down, and stalls out, this could be more related to a fuel pump issue. If on your truck the fuel pump is located inside of the fuel tank, then once the pump heats up, this would happen. Acting as though it's something electrical, but it's really not.

97 chevy blazer w/ 4.3 won't start unless i pour full directly into it....what is causing this. was driving and it just stalled ...fires but won't turn over completely

if you can put fuel in throttle body and it runs. then it is not getting any fuel. check your fuel pump fuse and the relay, if ok, then you may have a bad fuel pump or a plugged up fuel filter. check filter and fuses first. good-day !!

I have a 97 Blazer, just had the fuel pump replaced and worked fine. But in the cold weather it won't start. Any tips?

Try energizing the fuel line twice, turn the ignition key to the on position for 30 seconds then turning it off for 5 seconds and then try starting the engine. This will warm up and clean the MAF sensor, and also ressurize the fuel line if the fuel pressure check valve has failed and that is located on the fuel pump return line. Clean the MAF sensor will also help in the cod weather starts, so you may want to clean the MAF with MAF cleaner and clean the Throttle body with throttle body cleaner and pay attention to the Idle Air control valve passage ways at the back of the throttle body opening. Good luck and keep me posted.

HELP! HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE ! 2001 chevy blazer fuel problems

I would check to be on the safe side the fuel filter is going in the right direction. The arrow is pointing towards the engine away from the fuel tank, Then you need to make sure the fuel pump wiring connections are good contact and did not come loose when driving.

My 97 Chevy blazer has a Immobilizer ; doesn't start.

I agree with gasitjr.
I own a 98 blazer. When you try to turn over the engine. Does the engine rotate? If yes,it's not the starter or the battery. When you turn the key into the ON position before it starts can you hear an electric motor noise winding up? If yes , the fuel pump maybe OK but if the pump pressure is bad...blazer wont start. Pump runs about 300 plus labor. I've done it..It sucks
