If the brake pedal goes to the floor you need a new mastercylinder so have that changed and bleed the brake system, that should fix your brake problem.

Two things that could be wrong is the brake booster or the master cylinder

Whats wrong with my 2002 monte carlo ss if my right wheel makes a squeaking noise while it gets faster?

Have the brake pads checked for excessive wear, replace the pads with GM parts only, not cheap brake pads.

97 Monte Carlo and the breaks sound like just air

check the brake fluid level, this is under the hood near the back wall by the drivers side. brakes are serious problem and should go to shop, they probably need the brake bled, this is where all the air is pushed out of the lines, sometimes you can get lucky and pump the brake pedal ( push down and release the brake pedal) over and over again and see if they tighten up

hope this helps

I can't get back brakes on a 1995 Monte Carlo. I replaced the brake pads all around and put new line on the back. It had good brakes on the back when I started.

Have some one pump the break up and hold the peddle doun to the floor and take back break line loose and see if you are getting fluid to the back. if not you need to check lines for bends and clogs. And check the resivor for clogs and fluid. If you are then change the break cylinder It has gone bad.

Stalling and brakes wont work properly on 1999 chevy monte carlo

Stalling, could be fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, fuel injectors. Brakes, could be air in lines, defective calipers and pads. Remove one wheel and check the thickness of the pad and look for any leaks. I you intend to replace the pads you will need certain tools, antinseizing compound, and high temp break grease.
