I have a 2000 XLT also. Is yours blowing luke warm air at best? If so then you need to have your core flushed. The dealership wanted $800 to put a new core in it. You can get a coolant flush done but you must specifically ask them if it flushes the core. 99% of the coolant flushes bypass the heater core. If they sound unsure make them ask someone else otherwise you will waste $90+. You can flush it yourself but it is very tricky. I can take some pictures if you need them.

If you have no warm air at all then your core is most likely bad or clogged beyond flushing.

Heater blower stopped working in my 2000 ford expedition stopped working

Be certain to check your fuses, and also the ones that are under the hood.
Then, one of 3 likely events.
First, find a plug-in outside of the blower motor, and with key on and dash switch on, see if juice is getting to the blower motor.
If not, ether the relay or the blower is bad.
The most common problem is the relay, second most common in the motor, third is the dashboard switch.
God bless your efforts.

Hey , How can I replace the bulb(s) on the a/c heater panel of my 1998 Ford Expedition XLT, Thanks

I would recommend auto zone and tell them the place where you need the bulb replaced but I do know you will have to remove trim pieces and I know they can give you a diagram print out also a dealer will do this also just go to the parts department
