Question about 1998 Dodge Durango

Open Question

I have a 1998 Dodge Durango Slt; it will turn over but not start. Drove it to work fine one day; but when I started it to leave it started before sputtering and stalling out. Now it turns over but doesnt start. Fuel pump and filter are good; all fuses are good; plenty of gas. When attached to a diagnostic computer its displays that the automatic shut down (asd) is active. How can I fix this?

SOURCE: 1999 dodge durango slt stalls but restarts (no

water being in th gas would cause this problem but would NOT cause no bus to appear ... this is caused from a comunications error between the computer and the engine,, usualy a bad ground or dirt in a conector .. clean all connectors and get new ground wires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why my '99 Durango won't start? The battery is fine so far everthing is working but the radio?

Hi Sheila, i'm glad to help. 99 Durango's with thew 5.2 liter engine were good about the Crank Sensors going bad. Now, as I can't say that securily with out diagnosis. If it were my vehicle and knowing what I know about no starts, that is diffinently where I would start. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Sheila.

THE IS CAUSED BY THE SYSTEM BEING LOW ON REFRIDGRENT, THIS IS CAUSED BY A LEAK, MOST COMMON CAUSE OF THE LEAK IS THE FRONT SEAL OF THE AC COMPRESSOR.
