2007 Sahara horn is faint sounding

I own a Sahara. My horn has has suddenly lost its loudness (The horn noise is very faint). Not sure how to troubleshoot and solve this one. I had just come back from the country where I had hit a few deep puddles; could the water have splashed up into the horn? Thoughts, related experiences, & solutions are appreciated.

I ended up laying on the horn for 30+ seconds and the sound gradually came back to normal! I'm to cheap to consider replacing it. :) Thanks for the feedback.

350Z horn not sound loud

You have 2 horns, high and low, check out the connections there and the ground, could just be loose, not normal for horns to go out at this year.Have some one blow horn and listen to both to make sure both are working,One might be bad,or connections are rusted, get sand paper and rough up to get better connection,if this don't work, guess what,as you know, horns are not cheap, replaced mine on my 85 Nissan 720 4x4.Now they are loud.

Loud noise coming from the idle air control valve inlet tube

I do not want to be wrong with my answer but it sounds like the idle control solenoid may be buzzing or the chamber it operates in needs to be cleaned with WD40. Sometimes when a solenoid routes vacuum to a part and sticks, the vacuum is going where it never was intended to go and makes noise. You might want to look at vacuum routing or things like the air horn or if the air cleaner is connected completely around its mount.

Faint to loud humming noise while driving and turning...

Could be either a loose belt or you are low on power steering fluid,or the power steering pump could just be worn out.

A very loud alarm/horn noise coming from the car

The steering wheel horn pad/button doesn't have enough clearance. In very cold weather, the contacts touch, sounding the horn. Replace or repair the horn pad

Horn in 1990 Cadillac Seville doesnt work

If you hear the relay clicking, and even faint horn, check the connections on the horns themselves, there are probably two. If they seem okay then take a piece of wire and jump from +power to the horn terminal. Be prepared because if it works it will be very loud, and I know more than one person who's hit his head on the hood doing this. If it doesn't work, replace the horns. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Car makes loud noise on passenger side near head light.

sounds like the blower fan. what type of chevy is it. a full size has the fan on the passenger side firewall. should be easily accessible. just disconnect the wire and test the car. if it stops making noise , that is the problem, also turn on the fan speeds to different settings, if if changes sound , that is the problem

That's not a remote starter on your key chain, it's a keyless entry for an alarm system.
