They do tend to hide them, get under the dash with a light and search for the blinker, its round and about in inch, usually two wired going to it, it will be clipped on one of the dash support members,

Make sure all outside blinkers are flashing at one speed, if not check the bulbs and all connections, If that doesn't work check flasher

make sure your fuses are ok and youve got power if ok check the blinker sender unit its usually round and silver with 2 or 3 wire going to it. usually under the dash but could be in the engine bay

The blinkers dont work

Assuming that you've checked the regular fuses, have you checked the relay for the blinkers? If not, one way to do so is the switch the relay for the hazard lights with the relay for the blinkers and see if that solves the problem. If it does, replace the relay so you have both blinkers and hazard lights.

1999 ford explorer blikers wont work

Well your not going to like this but I think I can help im assuming you checked all the fuses inside the car and under the hood ? if there all good your problem more than likley is in the BCM as it controls the lights and blikers BCM stands for Body Control Module. good luck :)

My blinkers and steering functions!!!

Pullout fuse 20 and 21 and push same back in. This resets the system, this has happened to me.
