I have a 1990 Chrysler newyorker 3.0 w/air, and the car died all of a sudden, all fuses are good all relays are good ,(new spark plugs, new wires, about 3 months old). It gets plenty of gas, but no spark. The car has 180,000 miles. what do I do?

I am just guessing but there should be a fuse box under the hood as well and one of the fuses will be marked engine or ignition. These are larger fuses and the fuse box is generally mounted on the upper wheel well towards the back of the engine compartment nearer the windshield on the right or left hand side of the engine. Let me know if you found it and the problem is fixed and if not I have other ideas. Please leave a thumbs all the way up for me. I can use a good woed. The Raz Shack

It sounds like you have an air flow problem. Go backwards from the throttle body to air cleaner. possible IAC valve stuck closed or open, possible Mas Air Flow sensor. The lack of air is causing the engine to die Good Luck Friend.

Only one of my radiator fans are working and the car overheats i have 1990 chys. newyorker 3.3 liter

One works with the A/c, the other is for the cooling of the motor,, turn on the ac and see if the other one comes on, if it does, check the relay for the other one, or it could be the heat sensor

Engine rotates but will not start

three things an engine needs, fuel, air, and spark. without any one of these it will rotate but not start. 1. Air - If filter is clogged it cannot get air, but it would have to be verry dirty for this to be the problem 2. Fuel - If no fuel check fuel filter, lines, sending unit 3. Spark - Check ignition, spark plugs, plug wires,
If it has no spark and this happened suddenly, as it was running, died or was shut off and now won't start it is also a very good probability that the timing belt broke.

Getting spark to te coil packs but not to the spark plugs.i was driving it all of a sudden it just died

If you are getting power to the coil pack but not to the spark plugs, and you've already made sure to check your wires and fuses/relays, then it is probably a problem with your coil pack. The ignition module on my 1990 Grand Wagoneer did the same thing.

Car wont start.1990chrysler newyorker 3.3 my car will not start.replaced switch, tested starter still nothing.

if it will not crank have you checked all your fuses and relays? there should be a crank fuse and a starter relay. is the relay functioning propperly. next check at your starter yould should have a larger wire that is hot or has voltage on it at all times directly from the battery. there should be another smaller wire that comes from the ignition and at the keys crank position you should get 12volts on this wire this is what energizes your solenoid on the starter. not sure if you have already checked this hope it helps
