The DPF is designed to be self-cleaning to a certain extent if the engine is run for a good length of time the deposits should burn off. I would kick up a fuss with Audi about the warranty, ask them to show its exclusion. Unless the DPF has become physically damaged by something you have done then they need to have it fixed as it is a result of the deficiency in their design. This is not like some damaged tyre, open to abuse by the driver, the DPF is integral to the vehicle operation and through no commission on your part it is not functioning as it should.
P0471 - Exhaust Pressure Sensor Range/Performance
I can't say for certain but the code suggests - something is restricting your exhaust or you have an exhaust leak. I would have to have more info for a possible better solution.
you need to have the engine codes pulled and if you have a p0420 code you most likly have a bad cat. but i need to know the code stored in the computer.
YOU MAY GET A PEDAL POSITION SENSOR CODE AND A THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR INPUT CODE. IF YOU GET THESE CODES, THEN CHANGE THE THROTTLE BODY/THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR. SINCE YOUR THROTTLE POSITON SENSOR IS PART OF THE BODY, YOU MUST CHANGE THE THROTTLE BODY BECAUSE THE T.P.S. IS RIVETED TO IT AND CANNOT BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY. IT IS A DEALER PART ONLY. P.S. BE CAREFUL IF YOU CHANGE THIS PART YOURSELF DUE TO THE FACT THAT COOLANT RUNS THROUGH THE BODY TO HELP DISSIPATE HEAT. HOPE THIS HELPS. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED.
