You have a low battery voltage problem, you need the battery load tested it is most likely defective. Most auto parts stores test batteries for free. The CD lockout was the system response to the low voltage, it is a security feature, you, or the original owner was given the code you must input to unlock the radio. If you are not the original owner or don't have the code number then go here www.radio-code.com (North America only)
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Hyundai service centre and get them to enter this code for you.
you need to check to see if your car has a radio lockout that won`t allow the radio to work unless you enter a code to unlock system.you will have to talk to the honda dealer for more information about this,or talk to a radio installer shop that deals with lockout systems for car radios
On some cars there is a lockout feature on stock radio to prevent theft. If the battery went dead or was disconnected for a period of time the radio locks. Most cars you have to call dealership to get unlock code.Or contact manufacture of radio to obtain code.
The Radio is a True Statement. It will need a Lockout Code installed to bypass the Theft Deterent. On the Remote, The light will still flash But, It could still need a Battery anyway if the Battery has just enough Power to Turn the Light on and not Enough to send the Code to the Vehicle to Perform the Desired Actions.
