Check fuel line pressure, must be about 50psi. It sound like the fuel pressure regulator on the throttle body. Good luck.

2002 toyota tundra wont stay running will start and die right away.

Throttle control motor? No, never heard of one of those. Possibly a Mass Airflow Sensor. It sits inside your throttle body on most cars and measures the airflow into the intake. When it gets dirty or goes bad it really messes your car up. it is either in your throttle body or between the air filter and the throttle body either way it will be pretty simple to remove and clean. If it is your MAF then try to clean it first with MAF cleaner. They do have a cleaner specific for that at the auto parts store. You can usually clean them and be alright. Could save you alot of money. Hope I could be of some help. Good luck

Fuel metering device location ?

Hi. Not exactly sure what your looking for ..... The fuel is delivered to the engine via a fuel rail and each cylinder has a injector to deliver fuel to that cylinder.

Fuel is pumped into the fuel rail at 35 psi from a pump in the fuel tank.....don't worry, never heard of one causing a fire. There's not enough air in the gas tank to support a flame.

There is also a 'throttle body' to allow air to enter the engine but iit is not like an old carburettor also delivered fuel.

If you look in the engine bay you will see the cables that operate the throttle body. there will be two cables, one for the throttle controlled by the drivers pedal and one cable operated by the cruise control.

Hope this is some help.

2002 Chevy Blazer does not want to start, have to pour some gasoline in the carburator

You do not have a carb. That carb looking thing is a throttle body. There is a shraeder valve just aft of the throttle body, and slightly to the driver's side. Check your fuel pressure there. I am assuming a 4.3 as this is most common. pressure should be 60 to 66 psi for vin w engines, and 55 to 62 for vin x engines., Both are 4.3s, find out which by checking 8th digit in vin. If no fuel pressure, your most likely bet is a faulty fuel pump. Try giving the tank a few wacks witha rubber mallet, as sometimes this will make the pump run one more time. If this does not solve your problem, feel free to get back to me and we'll go furthur, however this will usually take care of it. Good Luck!

Where is the fuel pump located?

If you have the 2.5L 4 cylinder Throttle body fuel injected engine then the fuel pump is located inside of the fuel tank. If you have the 2.8L V6 carbureted engine then the pump is located on the side of the engine [just follow the fuel line back from the carburetor and you'll find it]

I had the same problem. I was buying my fuel pumps at Advan**
Auto Parts and Auto Z*** . I always bought the cheapest pump but after dropping the tank 3 times I was frustrated so I bought the best pump they had I think it was made by Bosh. Never had that problem again.

1998 Chev Blazer - Hard Starting - Sometimes Dies When Idling

If your blazer is hard to start you can spray starting fluid in the throttle body and it is under the air horn. You remove the long screw which reveals the throttle body valve but do not press it open like a caruberator float just spray it in their. It helps if you turn the key on three times and then it should start. What does this all mean; Fuel Pump! I'm sorry but blazers are infamous for the fuel pump going out. Go to www.under100dollars.com and you can find a fuel pump for your blazer for like 70 dollars. If you get it from a auto parts store it's going to be like 200 or 300 dollars. It's not to hard to due but the fuel tank strap bolts can be difficult.
