open the door from the outside look on the door seal while open in look for a switch or button that says child proof lock a lot of cars and trucks have these to stop kids from opening the door while the car is moving and rear doors can only be open from outside when set
I have the same car, same problem. I've still not been able to fix it, despite taking the inside panels off the rear doors, checking the rods were seated, applying WD-40 to the lock mechanisms, and manually working the mechanism. Child locks are not engaged, but I tried putting them on and off too. Just won't open.
Well you could take the door panel off and fool around with the lock till you get it to work. If you want to get lazy take a crow bar and open the door with that, but it will more than likely break the door. Sounds the lock seized up and will take you working to get it loose,
