There is no dipstick, you can access the transaxle by lifting the car up. It is located on the drivers side right by the wheel. Remove the bolt at the top of the pan, if the fluid dribbles out there is enough, if not you need to fill it.

1999 Pontiac Grand Am 3.4 V6 4 speed auto does not have a dip stick. According to the manual if the transmission is leaking fluid or shifting incorrectly take it to the dealer. Other than that the service interval for filter and fluid change is 50,000 miles. I hope this answers your question.

I assume you do not mean stick shift transmission, because they never use a dipstick, but instead require opening a plug on the side of the tranny.

But if you have an automatic, the 99 has a dipstick near the firewall.
Check with engine running.
Lately they have been leaving dipsticks off of automatics, but that is a horrible idea and it won't last.

WHERE DO I PUT THE TRANSMISION FLUID

you have to locate the tranny dip stick and pull it out- then get a funnel that will fit down the hole- and slowly pour in tranny fliud. check level by putting dip stick back in (allow time for fuild to drip down out of the tube) make sure engine is running and is warmed up while reading fluid level on dipstick. Make sure it is the tranny dip stick and not the oil dipstick. oil is usually yellow and says oil on it- Trans is usually red.

When changing the transmision filter how much fkuid do I need to put back in the transmision after the new filter is in

Figure on having on hand about 12 quarts, but always use the dip stick to check the fluid level...I know they are hard to read, but if you have some old carbon paper that we use to use before computer, you can wipe the paper on the stick and it is a trick to be able to see fluid on the stick better.

Transmision level fluid Baleno esteem 2002 susuki

The proper fluid level is marked on the dip stick. With the engine running and in park, raise the hood and remove the dip stick from the autotrans filler tube. With a clean rag, wipe down the stick and then place the dip stick all the way back in the tube again, and then pull it out once more.
Holding the stick level, you can now read what the fluid level is.

If you add any fluid, do so in small amounts, such as a half a pint at a time.

Do not add fluid with engine running.
