You could try resetting the computer if you havent done so already. The car maybe in lockout mode. Try turning your car over….leave the ignition on. Wait exactly 10 min. Then try turning over again….again leave the key on. Wait exactly 10 min and do it a third time….this time the car should start…maybe run a lil rough while it relearns the processes of your vehicle again. It is important to wait the exact 10 min each time. You will probably need a battery charger or a set of jumper cables because if your car goes low during this process it will not work. Good luck and I hope this works. The issues are because he car has to relearn how your firing and when the injectors need to operate(in a nut shell).

No injector pulse

Why don't you take it to a ASE citified repair shop instead of buying parts you don't need ! Are any lights lit on the dash SECRUITY or flashing lights Did you hook up a scan tool ? An up grade - professional one an check for codes in all the vehicle computers . Most vehicle have ten or so , an a problem in anyone can cause a no start problem ! If your vehicle has Air bags , antilock brakes , anti-theft system , BCM - body control module , PCM -engine controller , remote door unlocks etc... these are all control modules . They all communicate on a serial data bus, an all it takes is one bring down the whole system ! Google CAN - controller area network , class 2 data bus , Chrysler CCD bus > The fuel pump has nothing to do with the injectors firing ! The engine computer does that ! An when you change a PCM / ECM it needs to be programmed , the dealer is most usually the only one who can do that ! Codes set in other modules other then the engine computer don't turn on the check engine light ! Most of the time your will have codes stored in other modules you won't even know it !

Tahoe 97 Fuel problems

Crank sensor has to be bad,or the ignition module.Remove the ignition module and have it checked at the parts store. If it checks bad, replace it,if it checks good replace the cranksensor. The cam sensor, cranksesor, and the control module control injector pulse, and coil spark.I would point more to the ignition module. But I have known the crankshaft sensor to do this also.I hope this was helpful,if so,let us know, thanks, and good luck.

1990 gmc 6500 topkick with no spark or injector pulse. all 4 wires on the ignition coil have battery voltage with key on. is coil shorted or is the ignition module bad?

You are jumping to conclusions. Slow down.
No spark AND no injector pulse indicates none of the desired outputs were triggered. The ignition module makes spark when it receives a crankshaft position sensor signal, and then transfers control of that spark to the computer after it starts. The module takes its crank sensor signal and generates an RPM count that it forwards to the PCM(main computer) which is used for triggering the injectors and controlling timing. SO, if you had a bad crank sensor OR a bad ignition module, you could lose both spark AND fuel. a coil would not disable injector pulse. modules RARELY fail in a manner that disables RPM reference to the computer causing it to not fire the injectors...At this point, I would TEST the crank sensor as the next step. If its easier, 1 of the wires on the module goes directly there so you can test the crank sensor at the module.

Engine cranks over will not start. 1993 Pontac grand Am

Replace ignition module. Engine computer is related only to the fuel injectors. Spark is only controlled by ignition module. Make sure that you replaced the prom chip inside the computer when you did your switch as well.
