If it's a manual transmission your clutch is probably out of adjustment and not releasing fully. You risk damaging your synchros if you keep driving this way.

Shifting lever is sloppy and can't get it into park. Play around with it to start car . Is there an adjustment for the cable on the transmission?

There is an adjustmant but that is not the problem. The problem is the two bolts that hold the shift cable bracket to the steering column. They are #30 torqx and a little hard to get to, you will need to get under the dash and wiggle the shifter to identify the shift cable and baracket.Tighten the two bolts and all should be good.

Hard shift when accelerating and slowing down

Check your transmission fluid level when the engine is running and the car is in 'park'. add extra appropriate fluid as necessary via the dipstick tube. When 'max' is reached I think you will notice a return to normal shift operation.

1993 Accord, auto, Shift from P to D4 and P to R

start be looking for broken motor mounts if there broken this can happen look for rips and tares in the rubber in side the mounts you may need to put the car in the air to check the rear mount. if you find one that is broken replace it and see if that solves your clunk.
