Ignition issue

Have a load test done on the battery to check for a failing cell. Check battery terminals are shiny clean and tight. Check for power from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid as this is the circuit you by pass when you short out the starter terminals.

1986 ford f350 won't start

The solenoid click sounds very strong, implying that you have a charged battery and the ignition circuit is functioning out to the solenoid. Suspect an issue with the starter motor. Is the starter motor installed and connected properly?

1995 taurus won't start

The dash lights coming on doesn't mean your battery is strong enough to turn the car over. That being said, I would lean towards the starter also. I would just have the battery chkd out before you go replacing other things just to be sure. Good luck to you.

Battery drains with key off

the problem you have is either the starter motor , or alternator draining the battery , these are the only thing connected to the battery that are live with ignition turned off ,

Alternator has been replace, battery is good, starter rebuilt 3weeks ago. will not make a sound when i turn the ignition

Turn your key on till the fuel pump comes on, then take a screwdriver and cross the terminals on your starter. If it cranks it means you have a bad ignition or ignition coil

2001 F350 Charging problems

actually the only thing i can recomend is to have the alternator replace again for warranty and before starting the truck charge the batteries very well with a baterie charger make sure to charge them individually because with a low batterie the alternator has to put a lot of load and might burnt again
specially with dual batterie.
