How do you install a front blower motor on a 2002 dodge grand caravan

For the front blower motor, there isn't an individual relay. Note the diagram. The two wires at blower motor, one should be voltage and the other ground. The totally integrated power module is also involved. Any applicable trouble codes? I can' say that replacing the blower module will fix the problem?

Body parts most likely, if it looks the same it will likely fit, electronics I doubt.

J, I am sending you some info to read but it appears that the most likely cause is the blower motor relay. Give the following notes a read and if you need some more help give me a buzz... Best of Luck..

Fuse is OK. Tests/Procedures: 1. At the blower motor, there is a Dark Blue wire. This wire should have battery voltage whenever the key is in the "on" position. Power for the blower motor comes from the blower relay.

2. Access the front blower relay, it is located on the driver's side under the dash, near the junction block. There will be four wires going to it. The Dark Green wire should have battery voltage all the time. The Dark Blue wire is going to the motor. The Black/Orange wire should have battery voltage with the key in the "on" position. Tech Tips: The front blower relay is located under the dash, on the driver's side. It may be necessary to remove the junction block (fuse and relay box) in order to see it. Diagnostic Codes: None

BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR IS LOCATED ON THE BLOWER MOTOR HOUSING CONNECTING TO BLOWER MOTOR WIRING.

#26 40 amp orange fuse ---it is under the hood of vehicle in fuse box. Relay labeled "F" in passenger comp on juction block behind left side of dash is for rear blower motor, front blower motor relay is behind juction box.

First check the voltage at the front blower moter. If it has voltage then it may just need a new motor.

Remove the cover plate on the passenger side of the heater box, 3-4 screws.
Unplug the motor assembly, remove 3-4 more screws that hold the motor in place and pull it down from its position. Get an aftermarket motor and installed it in the original housing with the original squirrel cage.
Installation is the reverse of removal.

Check owners manual for location of heater blower motor front,check with a test light,if it's good locate blower motor under glove box and test the two wires for power when switch is turned on,if power is present motor needs changed.if no power check blower motor resister.

it's the blower motor resistor , it's behind the glove compartment, just make sure you disconect the neg. for battery first, open the glove comp. and pull the rubber stops towars the center so you can let the glove comp. hang all the way to the floor , the resistor it's in front of you, disconect the two conectors there's one big with 6 0r 8 wires coming out and another with only two, take them out by pressing on the side of each one, remove it , put the new one on , conect the battery and your done. it's about $ 13.00 at o'riellys auto parts .
