My battery was didconected now my radio says code , i bought car second hand so dont have it..... help !!!!!!

Tip....the code is sometimes put on the bottom of the ashtray just remove it and flip it over should be 4 digits

Install an aftermarket head deck if you cant find the code online or at the opel dealership

go to benz dealer and they will run radio number on some older models the audio unit must be removed to get the numbers to get code info, or go and get aftermarket unit installed.

i have a 2004 jaguar x-type and i replaced my battery and the radio is locked and i dont know the code. i bout the car second hand and the code that the dealership has isnt working. what can i do to get the radio unlocked?

Check for a sticker with the radio code inside the glove box. Some dealers fixed a second sticker in the owners manual. If not available, get the code from a Honda dealer, and be prepared to show VIN number, and proof of vehicle ownership.

You just need to go to a dealer, as long as its the original radio that was fitted in the car they will charge you £10 to fix it.

Press and hold SCAN and RDS. 1000 will appear and you can enter your code using the station buttons 1-4 to set the digits.
