Power windows will not go up or down

When i bought the car the back windows never worked. the front windows did. then the front windows stopped working at the same time. i checked the fuse,and it was good. a day later they started woking again,then 2 days later stopped all together again. its not a fuse problem and i dont think a switch or motor problem because they both quit at the same time. please help, im a poor workin man who cant pay the shop to fix this and with no a/c i need to get the windows workin. thanks.

I can understand you,LOOK,this is simple,take your time,LISTENTO ME,OPEN THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR,AND LOOK AT,THE,BLACK RUBBER LOOM COVER,PULL IT IT BACK AND CHECK FOR BROKEN WIRES,NONE THERE??,THEN,DIAG,THE SWITCH,HOW?,GROUND UP,AND THE WINDOWS SHOULD GO DOWN!!!!!!!!!

Power window on front, passenger door did not work. Today at a stop light it went down by itself and will not go back up. All other windows work.
Sounds like you probably have a broken cable on the window regulator and you need to have it replaced.

Power Windows
take the door panal back off. Using a test light disconnect the window motor and run your test light across the two termails hook the switch up and run the switch up and down. If the light lights then the window motor is no good. If the light does not light check to see that there is power going to the switch. Another place to check is in the body to door pass throught sometime the wires brake there
