My sisters 99 eclipse spyder is stuck in park. Cant even press the shifter button. Does anyone know where the release button is on this car?

Most cars you have to push brake pedal to shift out of park etc. the switch at brake pedal is bad or out of adjustment. God-Bless! Its at top of pedal arm.

Where is a Mitsubishi eclipse spyder 2003 wiper relay ?

The two relays for the front [main] wipers are part of the front ECU [engine computer] and are not serviceable separately. The front wipers are powered by a 10 amp [#22 in the relay box] battery hot fuse and a 20 amp [#18 in the junction box] & two 7.5 amp [#20 & #23 in the junction box] ignition hot fuses. The front ECU is located under the hood. It sits on top of the driver's inner fender well.

How to remove break light bulb in 2003 mitsibushi spyder

Check the brake light switch located on the brake pedal arm. Its above the pedal under the dash and has a connector with several wires attached to it. The switch is either bad, broken, or out of adjustment. If you have to step on the brake to shift out of park there is also a another switch located there as well.

How to install original gear shift knob on my 2003 eclipse gts

Carefully check the button and stick. I suspect that there may be a piece broken off of the button so it doesn't reach into the slot properly.

My 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder's shifter has had problems "freezing" when it is very cold. This has happened a few times now. The button would not depress to allow it to come out of park....

This might seem weird but a lot of people like my daughter who has kids drop things into the floorboard which migrate to underneath the shifter console where those objects interfere with shifting! Just a thought.

2003 Mitsubish Eclipse GST Spyder alarm goes off for no reason at all. If you hit the unlock button it quits, but it might go off again at some random time.

I HAVE A SPYDER ALSO. ALTHOUGH, I HAVE NEVER HAD THAT ISSUE, THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET THE ALARM TO STAY OFF WITHOUT GOING OFF AGAIN IS BY INSERTING THE KEY INTO THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR. THAT RESETS IT PROPERLY.

Manual transmission!

Hi hotglass04. Your transmission will need to be rebuilt, or as you say, screwed. You can drive it home, just be sure to avoid all areas where you may need reverse, park out in the open, for instance. I feel you can drive it for as long as you have to, just stay away from trying to shift into reverse.
