there is a clip behind the window roller take a screw driver and pry (force) it out

only 2 reasons for this 1-Wrong belt or 2- you do not have it put on right. diagram is in the engine compartment, usually on the radiator area or the underside of the hood

HEAD TORQUE SPEC IS 37 FT LBS ROTATE AN ADDITIONAL 90 DEGREES 1/4 TURN.

You will have to plug in a OBD II reader and pull the codes.
Please let me know what they are and I will walk you through it.

Window regulator has probably gone bad.

Ground short in the steering column. Pretty common on Alero's, sadly.

There shouls be 2 straps inside the trunk at the top. Both on the driver side but one is for the left side and one for the right side seats. Pulling on the straps releases the 'lock' that should then allow you to pull down the seats from the back seat area.
