Chrysler Cirrus 1995 Alarm comes on car starts but goes turn off within seconds

If the key fob isnt working to deactivate it, it should deactivate by unlocking the drivers door with the key.

or do you need to permanently deactivate it?

if the head lights continue to flash of course the battery will go flat. every time the head lights flash there is 65 watts of power coming out of the battery. Have the alarm modulator checked out as it should only flash once or twice to indicate that the alarm is activated.

that is a arter market alarm .that year did not come with a keyless enter. I have I have 2 conveter lebarons in my garage now. you will need to remove the after market alarm

Here is what I do on my 95 Cirrus I also do not have a keyless remote (well I do but is broke) and after frustation after frustation trying to disarm the factory alarm I find out that by unlocking the passenger front door with the ignition key from the outside will disarm it you may have to try few times before it's disarmed you need to make sure that the blinking red light stops blinking and all of the locks on all 4 door are up or unlocked, this is what I been doing for 3 years now and that's how I disarm the alarm on my car, I hope this helps.

some times the battery in your remote is dead, replace the battery and try to lock and unlock with the key.

either a loose connection or the battery dead or removed within 50 last times you turned on the car, check battery terminals for corrosion or loose connector, and check the earth wire for corrosion, the code will dissapear by itself if the power is not removed again
