P0449, which is a code for solenoid CONTROL CIRCUIT. You could just have a loose or broken wire or connector as you stated, P0452, which is a code for Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input

A recall on all Montana's 2000-2005 for a elec. plug behind drivers seat gets corroded and causes a no start at purple wire.I hate to take up carpet that far to find, anyone no where exactly it is?

Where did you hear that one at . There isn't anything ,no connector ,no purple wire that gets corroded . Without proper service information , wiring diagrams etc... This diagnoses could take sometime . There is a ppl wire from the PCM / Crank fuse 10amp located in the instrument panel fuse box . When you turn the key to start B+ voltage is supplied to that fuse . from there it goes to the PCM crank sense input . From there the PCM energizes the starter relay sending B+ voltage to the starter solenoid . Turning over the engine . Suggest you look at a wiring diagram at http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter your vehicle info. year , make , model , engine size . System (engine ) Subsystem (starting )

How to wire a range rover power seat

There are 4 electric motors under each seat and a 5th inside the back rest. Also under each seat is a module containing the relay and memory module It is possible to run new wires but the job will be much simpler if you have (or can get) a pair of original wiring harnesses to go between the module and the harness behind the centre console (remove ashtray, lighter and storage bin) Spade terminals can be used if the module is missing. Make sure the wiring colours all match.

Of course, this is a simplified explanation. Go to Rovers.net for more detail

My seats won't work or my side mirrors an the fuse is good what else can it be

Have you recently cleaned your car and pulled anything out from under the drivers seat? You may have accidentally pulled a wiring harness apart. The actuators that move the seats sometimes freeze, especially if you get right to the end point of motion, giving it a light wack with a wrench can usually free them up, but they shouldn't all stop working at once. It may also be the wiring under the carpet has corroded through. I would start with the harness under the drivers seat and back track the wiring to the fuse box.

2002 buick century right anti-lock brake sensor shows bad even after I replaced the sensor (complete hub). I figure it maybe the wiring is bad and I am looking for a wiring diagram.

Just pull the wires out of the plastic loom on the right side. It is common for them to either break or corrode in the short section of harness from the hub assembly to the frame rail. If you find the bad spot the harnesses are available from your local NAPA and are pretty common so they may have them in stock.

The other common thing to happen is one of the pins gets bent at the connector. Make sure this didn't happen by looking into the connector and make sure both pins look the same and are straight.

2003 Buick Regal: how do I hook up the front seat heating system? I think they're just disconnected. I can see all the wires under the driver's side seat. Neither the driver's side seat heater or seat...

The last time I checked one of these, the wiring harness for everything you just described is underneath the seat. You'll have to move the seat all the way forward or back to get to the harnesses to reconnect them.

I hope this helps! :) Let me know if you need any further assistance in this matter.

2005 Jeep Liberty Sport. While the car is running, I notice the dashboard and headlights dim every minute or so for a few seconds. Also, the car doesn't start as smoothly as it normally does. This started...

I have an 2002 Liberty had the same/similiar problems, have the dealer check the wire harness that runs underneath the driver's seat, my wires had gotten wet from somehow and it caused the wires to corrode, they had to replace sections of the wire harness to fix the problem.

2002 buick rendezvous

My gas guage went from Empty to Full on its own and I never knew how much gas was in my vehicle. I was driving the other day and it stalled. Pulled into a parking lot let it sit a bit and it started right back up and I was able to drive again. Went to nearest gas station to put gas in. I put in $10 and I drove 3.4 miles and well it died on me again. I pushed the vehicle into my garage. I called around to see what could be wrong and I was told numerous things. I finally went under the vehicle where there is this clearish/white box under the Driverside area and I noticed it was corroded and dirty. I went in the house got a spray bottle with HOT WATER and sprayed it. I noticed that I had 3 prongs broke off. So I went to a local dealership for GM/Buick and I got the pins I needed to fix the problem and I went home fixed the broken pins and well now my vehicle works great and the vehicle runs great and gas guage problem was fixed as well. So for all of you that think you might have a fuel problem, fuel pump problem or gas guage problem check into the wire harness box under your vehicle and you will be able to fix it for Pennies instead of paying the $750 or more for something you cna fix at home. I love my Rendezvous and I would buy another one again.
