Sounds like the AC compressor is locked and won't turn when the AC clutch is activated. Suggest professional help for this problem (or don't use the AC at all!). Good luck!

Screaming noise from ac no cold air

It sounds to me that your belt or tensioner is worn, if the noise goes away when the ac is off then it is just the belt slipping, it takes a lot of power to run the compressor and if the belt is worn it most likely slipping on the pully when you engage the clutch.

My power sterring makes a noise when i turn it hard over

This is the power steering pump loading up to full pressure and the gears grinding together. To stop this noise and the ultimate destruction of the pump when you reach full lock back of the steering wheel a touch and the noise should go away and it will not affect the turning circle of the car . Check drive belt condition and tension.

1994 bonneville 3800 engine. I had work done, replaced water pump, and now I have a noise that sounds like a screw or a stone bang around on metal. I took off the serpentine belt and ran the engine for a...

If you had no noise prior to replacing the water pump then the noise will be at the water pump. Remove the belt and turn the water pump by hand and you should feel the noise. I suspect fan bolts too long or water pump bolts not fitted in the proper holes and hitting on the pulley. If the problem can be felt in the shaft of the water pump I would take it back to whoever fitted it and have them re do the job as it may be that the impellor is hitting on the inside of the engine housing water jacket.

Noise in the drive belt area and how to replace the belt

Depending on the engine size and year, some belt routing is on the belt cover. Check the alignment of the crank pulley or harmonic balancer, a common problem . Most jeeps tension the belt by the power sterring pump or a tensioner pulley next to power sterring .

It has power steering. Why does it steer so hard?

Do you hear noises while turning the wheel at low speeds or stationary? If you hear a whining noise check the power steering fluid level. A low fluid level would make a whining noise as well as cause stiff steering. If you hear a squealing noise check the power steering belt tension. A slipping belt would cause stiff steering also. If you hear no abnormal noises check to make sure the power steering belt is there. If all of the above check out ok you may have a bad power steering pump, steering gear or a blockage in a pressure line.

Power sterring pump?

If you have checked the belt (it still has one that is) the grinding noise will be the pump but the loss of fluid could also be the steering rack at fault, try to find out where its leaking from

Squealing NOISE possibly from fan belt

If the noise going away every time u turning off the ac it's probably your ac compressor belt.however i will suggest to take some vaseline and rub it all over the exposed parts of your drive belt.
