Try a Ford dealer. Then go online for Salvage yards. They use the internet and can FedEx the parts.

Remember Broncos had hubs too. The Big broncos are on a F150 chassis so the parts should interchange.

I'm leaning towards your TFI module on the Dizzy. They get hot from engine and are a known issue by ford. I included a picture of what the TFI or ignition module looks like in your Stang. Be sure to tell the store clerk if you have a auto or manual when you purchase one Good Luck Ryan MN

4x4 not engaging

I assume you have automatic hubs (you don't have to manually engage them)? If these hubs are electrically operated, check for a loose or broken wire. Hubs will sometimes stick (on or off) after a few years of use. One (or both) hubs may need to be cleaned and lubricated, or possibly need replacement. These would be the first (and cheapest) things I would check.

When you replace 2001 kia sportage vacuum hubs with manual, it it just the front hubs that get replaced?

If it is a rear wheel drive predominately then yes you replace the front vac hubs only as the rear is constantly driving, is it a east west motor or north south , that will tell you a lot

Front drive shaft not fully engaged in 4WD, with truck on stands all 4 wheels do rotate but if i stop front wheels the front drive shaft is not engaged

Hi,
Do you have auto locking hubs on the front wheels, or manual locking hubs?
If you have auto locking hubs chances are they are not engaging properly and will need to be removed and spline sets checked for broken teeth on locking hub and locking shaft.
If you have manual locking hubs then check that they are firm when turning to engage them in the lock position. If they are light when engaging them to the lock position then they my have broken/worn out the locking hub and spline. Also check that the engaging spring inside the hub has enough tension to engage the hubs they may be broken. If the hub are all ok then you have a problem in the transfer box, where the 4WD lever is not meshing the transfer box properly. Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

Does the wheel barring have to be replaced when the stud is broke

If you use a hammer to drive the broken stud out you can cause damage to the bearing.
If you use a wheel stud press, the hub bearing will not be affected. The press will remove the old stud and install the new one.
Good luck.

Bad front wheelbearing 2006 gmc sierra 1/2 ton pickup

Not too bad. Just break down the Hub and pull it out. You might need a big socket. Go get a chilton's manual, it will help you if you don't understand it.

4wheel drive will not engage

Hello, If you have auto locking hubs you may want to check the springs inside the hub. The may be all greased up or they may be broken like mine. I changed the spring and cleaned the other one and they worked fine. Hope this helps

Four wheel drive wont engage

I got ripped off by a dealer with a similar problem that came back two weeks later. $2.99 of vacuum hose later I fixed it myself. Check all the vacuum lines for rotted hoses before you fork out 3K and they are easy to do
