Truck went into 4 wheel drive low cant get it out of it.

so is AWD,? command trac or what trac?

no working means..... using or 4low,?

got that? what you have for real MATTERS? we cant guess.
the 247 adds LimSlipDiff option to the system got that too>?
symptoms for working are>......
1: lamp dead.
2: lever stuck
3: tires x4 missing torque to earth?

say what is there.
and say what not working means , exactly
and say what tires are touching, (pavement , ICE or dirt)

It dosnt trun off it is all wheel drive, just make sure you are not in 50-50 or low you will be cool ive been driven one sence 06

I seen this once before owner had 2 different size tires so the 4 wheel drive was reading a slip in one of the wheels. And the 4 wheel drive was going on and off.
They replaced the tires with all 1 size and it went a way.

if you drove it too far too fast in 4 wheel low. you could have done some serious damage to the trani. i have the same truck in a 1998 and the tachomiter goes nuts at 15 mph in 4 low. it was never meant to drive for any distance in 4 low. if your lucky. when your rearend went it didn't take out your drive shaft. if your not lucky. your drive shaft took some punishment and in turn damaged the trani.

Pull the kick panel on the passenger side. there is a small box mounted there that is the computer that controls the actuator for the 4wd system. this is notorious for problems due in fact that the connector likes to pull out and away from the module. I had the same problem and the solution is simple.. take a long zip tie and get it between a few of the wires and around the module. tie it in and have a nice day.. it wont come off or try to pop out anymore and you should have no issues getting into 2wd, 4wd h, 4wd L.

Put your transmission in nuetral then shift back to 4 high then put in park and back to drive.

Have you checked the switch on the transfer case? Those switches tend to go bad and primarily operated the 4 wheel Hi.

look on fire wall pass. side you will see 2 parts with vacume lines attached 99 percent of the time that is what went i had the same problem
