Vent door not actuating, low on coolant could be either. I found a pencil jamming the one on my pickup, if fell down the defroster duct & jammed the door closed
The switch is located in the door catch mechanism. Check the wiring connections first in the rubber boot in the door hinge area. If they are fine, it will be the catch assy...

IF YOU SPRAY WD-40 INTO THE LATCH ON THE DOOR AND OPEN AND SHUT THE DOOR A FEW TIMES THE DOOR AJAR SWITCH IS LOCATED ON THE DOOR LATCH AND THIS PROCESS MIGHT HELP THE BUZZER GO OFF WITHOUT SPENDING A LOT OF MONEY.
It sounds like the door jam switch is not working. That happens when the door is not making full contact with the switch. Switch should be located somewhere along the door jam...either in the front or the rear part of jam. Have the switch checked out and replace if needed.
I could not find this switch either, It is actually located in the door latch on the door jam. Switch is somewhere inside. Took my truck to mazda dealer and had it replaced. Anoying problem.
This is the door ajar switch located in the door jam. Most are located in the front by the side of the dash panel but in the door jam. Check to see if you can unscrew this out and if it will turn the light off permantly.
