Radio works but does not light up? Have a jeep grand cherokee 2002. It works and you hear sound but does not light up the display. Checked fuses and look good. So... any idea. Thanks.

Your battery is low or has weak cell. I recommend jump starting vehicle. If it jump starts then replace the battery. If
battery warning light is illuminated on dash may have charging
system concern.

Poor radio reception

Is the antenna secure in back of radio? Antenna on vehicle OK? If antenna OK I might think radio tuner is just bad. Need new radio.

sounds like you have a defective antenna ground to the body.

check the battery connetions first,then if that does work jump it and drive it too auto zone they will check the battery and charging system for free
