Well, then I'd replace the distributor cap and rotor. Wasn't sure when they changed over to the HEI. It's the kind of cap that has the coil integrated into it. In a nutshell, you disconnect everything attached to it and slide it out the passenger side between the subframe and frame. Obviously, you have to disconnect all of the fluid lines, the tie rod ends on both sides, and the 2 (or 3) bolts that holds it in the car, along with the steering shaft.
Sounds like the Fuel pump relay.. When you turn on the key you should hear the relay click.. then 1-2 seconds later it will click again and turn the pump off until the car starts. This pressurerises the system so the car starts.. if this does not happen there is no pressure on the injectors.
